Lucy Owens

Lucy Owens began working at Grace-St. Luke's in August of 1986 as the Parish Receptionist/Secretary. Today Lucy's job responsibilites also include the Church Website and Editor of the Messenger. She also teaches piano lessons through the School's Enrichment program and works for the Monday noon Weight Watchers meeting. The atmosphere and love of the people of Grace-St. Luke is what attracted her and keeps her here. Lucy graduated high school in Tunica, MS and got her BME degree from Mississippi State University. She has one son, Hal, and a granddaughter, Taylor. Hal went to Grace-St. Luke's School from Sr. K - 8th grade, graduated from Overton High School and the University of Memphis School of Nursing. She is proud to say that she has worked for Grace-St. Luke's longer than any other current employee and plans on staying for a very long time!
