The Rev. Senter C. Crook
joined the staff of Grace St. Luke's in February of 2005.
Senter is a native Memphian who grew up at Calvary Episcopal
Church, where she was ordained in 1988. She received her
M.Div. from School of Theology at the University of the
South in Sewanee. She served as Priest Associate and as
Interim Rector at The Church of the Holy Apostles, and
later as Associate Rector at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal
Church in Raleigh. She also served for five years on the
staff of The Samaritan Counseling Center. Senter and her
husband, Dr. Joe McFadden, lived in North Carolina and
New York for five years, and upon returning to Memphis,
she served as the interim director of The Samaritan Counseling
Center before joining the clergy staff of Grace St. Luke's.
Senter did two years of graduate work at the Pacifica
Graduate School for Depth Psychology, and was a participant
in the Memphis Jung Training Program for six years. She
has three wonderful children and three grandchildren who
are the lights of her life!
