Worship and Music
The laity of the parish are actively involved in worship as Eucharistic Ministers, Acolytes, Ushers, Readers and Greeters.
The parish offers music programs for all ages: adult choir, children's choir and concerts.
Christian Education
Adults enjoy classes and small group programs on a variety of subjects on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings and other times during the week.
Young children participate in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program, which introduces them to the basics of Christian faith through scripture and hands-on materials. Older children and teens participate in scripture-based classes that focus on the needs and issues of their particiular stages in life.
Grace-St. Luke's School provides each child with and opportunity for an excellent education by caring for the needs of the whole child in a setting that reflects the faith of the Episcopal Church.
Outreach
More Than a Meal is a ministry of hospitality, welcoming our less fortunate neighbors for an hour of fellowship, food and worship.
The GSL Food Pantry, in coordination with MIFA, provides emergency food supplies to those in need.
Reasons to love parish life at Grace-St. Luke's:
Sunrise through Tiffany stained-glass windows during Morning Prayer.
Champagne and Chambord meets hot dogs and hamburgers: the Fifth Sunday Dinner Celebrations must be experienced to be believed.
Mom said never to discuss religion and politics, but we do it anyway during the Summer Speaker Series.
Kites and balloons in church? It must be Pentecost Sunday!
The Third Thursday group has so much fun you'll wish you were an empty nester!
Grace-St. Luke's is a lively parish of wonderfully diverse people who share the experience of Christ in a loving faith community. We invite you to come and see!
